Philosophy of Practice
Fox Hill Birth Services believes pregnancy and birth are a normal and natural process, and thus expects them to be so throughout your experience with me. If your care rises above my skill level I will refer you to a provider who will honor your birth prefrences to the best of their ability. Your safety is my highest concern. I believe your birth is a pivotal experience in your life with broad repercussions and I will work hard to make it exactly the experience you want it to be. I support your right to determine your own health care and make decisions for yourself and your baby. I believe the relationship between midwife and mother is very important, and can affect your birth so I strive to build personal relationships with all of my clients.
Services Provided
Fox Hill Birth Services offers in-home prenatal and postpartum appointments, in-home birth, co-care with local hospitals, lactation support, and placenta encapsulation services.
Education, Training, & Experience
I am a Certified Professional Midwife. I am graduated from the NARM PEP process in2026. I hold current Neonatal Resuscitation, and current CPR certifications. Following 15 years of doula work, I started my midwifery apprenticeship in April of 2023 with Kate Aseron of Rising Moon Midwifery and completed apprenticeship with Jennifer Weese of Life Within Birth Services in June of 2026. I have worked alongside other local midwives as backup and assistant since 2023.
